Each Saturday, Little Flower is transformed into a dancing studio. Through the efforts of the Little Flower Ladies Club and dance instructor, Marilyn Schunzel (Miss Marilyn, to all her students), we have maintained a wonderful community-building tradition for many years.

The Little Flower Dancing School offers fun and motivating classes in tumbling, tap and ballet. All ages are welcome, ranging from Pre-K to 7th grade and up. And you don't have to be enrolled in Little Flower to join.

The dance season runs from September until May, where all the students' talents are showcased in a fantastic recital.

CHRISTMAS PARTY: Our Christmas party will be Saturday, December 19th. Each class will have snacks and drinks during the last part of class that day. There are sign-up sheets for anyone who would be willing to bring a snack, drinks will be provided.

CLASSES: We will NOT have class the weekend of December 26^th. Classes will resume on January 2^th.

MAKE UP CLASSES: We’ve added Saturday May 15^th and Saturday May 22^nd to the class schedule since the recital date is a week later this year. One of these will make up for Saturday October 17^th when we cancelled classes due to H1N1 and then if we have to cancel any other classes, the other day will be a make up for that.

WINTER WEATHER: Please check KTVI Fox Channel 2 for Dancing School closings due to snow or bad weather.

OBSERVATION DAYS: Our last observation day before the recital will be on January 30^th – don’t forget to invite grandmas, grandpas, aunts & uncles!

PAYMENT: Please check to see if your payments are up to date, we are almost halfway through the year and we don’t want anyone to fall too far behind.

RECITAL: The recital will be held on Sunday May 23^rd this year. We will have an afternoon (2pm) and an evening shows (5pm) again this year and dancers are required to be at both shows. More details will follow in the next few months. Mandatory dress rehearsal has been tentatively scheduled for Tuesday May 18^th.

COSTUMES: Costume order forms will be sent in the mail during the Christmas break. Please follow the instructions on the order form, make sure all measurements are on the form. The orders along with the payment MUST be returned on Saturday, January 2^nd. If you cannot make it to class that weekend, please mail your order form and payment to: Lori Franke 7578 Warner Richmond Heights, MO 63117. If we do not receive your order, we will assume your dancer DOES NOT want to participate in the recital.
